Church Anniversary Praise Event: Date: today, 19th May. Time: 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Place: Church (2 Basalt Place).
Church anniversary celebration dinner will be hosted at Imperial Palace today at 6.00 pm. Dinner starts at 6:30 pm. A seating plan has been posted on the board (next to the kitchen). Car parks are limited so please carpool if you can.
Mission News
J&P will be preaching at our church on 2nd June. Their mission work will commence in July this year. Their first year of expenses is expected to be $89,000, and they have already fund-raised 95% of it. Pray for God’s providence and their organization of visas, body checks, childcare, etc.
Pray for Pastor Janet Tam’s ministries. Things are slowly getting back to normal and meetings have been resumed at the church. Please pray for the hearts of the Christians in Sri Lanka.
Vanuatu Short-term Mission Trip (4/06-12/06): Grace Gutry, KK Fong and Fion Fong will be joining this mission trip. Please remember them in your prayers
August Mission Month, topic will be “A Life of Mission”. Please pray for the speakers Karl Udy, Janet Tam and Rev Timothy Lim. May their preaching encourage our mission life.
Pray for Pastor Tony Yeung, who has taken up the role to lead the Mission department. And pray for the department’s future development. Please also continue to pray for Tony’s health and recovery after his eye surgery.
Prayer Items for the Week
Pray for the nominated deacon candidates. May God choose his faithful servants according to his will.
Pray for the church expansion executive team and the contractor. May God keep the construction safe and give us one heart and one vision to complete the project.
It is our church 25th Anniversary, Let’s give our thanksgiving to our Lord and pray that God will bless us with more wisdom in the coming years to do more for the Kingdom of God.
