Prayer Items for this Week

  • Pray that we would face the giants in our own lives with the same faith Joshua and Caleb showed — not because we are fearless, but because we trust in God's presence and faithfulness. May we take that step forward with courage, knowing He goes before us.

  • Pray for those in our congregation who are tempted to shrink back from what God is calling them to do, overwhelmed by the obstacles ahead. May God remind them that the battle belongs to Him, and that He is faithful to complete what He has begun.

  • Pray that our church would be a community of courageous faith — willing to trust God's promises even when the way ahead is uncertain, and encouraging one another to keep moving forward in His name.

2. Sri Lanka Short-Term Mission Team Fundraising Update: We thank God that the fundraising target for the Sri Lanka short-term mission team has now been reached. Praise God for His faithful provision through the generous support, prayers, and encouragement of brothers and sisters. Please continue to remember the team in prayer as they complete their preparation and get ready to serve alongside Rev Janet Tam in Sri Lanka.

Prayer Items for this Week

  • Pray that we would honestly bring our struggles before God, just as Moses and the Israelites did in the desert. May we trust that He hears us with patience and compassion, even when our faith is weak.

  • Pray that God would teach us to trust His provision, even when it looks different from what we expected. May we not be consumed by dissatisfaction, but learn to receive His goodness with grateful hearts.

  • Pray for those carrying heavy burdens in our congregation — that just as God responded to Moses with both compassion and practical help, He would meet each person in their need and shape them to trust Him more deeply.

  • Pray for the Sri Lanka Short-Term Mission Team — Pastor Herman Yeung, Mance Chan, Kallen Chan, and Oliver Kuik — as they complete their final preparations for their trip in July. Ask God to unite and equip them, provide for all their needs, and grant them boldness and wisdom as they serve alongside Rev Janet Tam to bring the gospel to those in need.
