Mid-Autumn Festival Outreach Event — Our Cantonese Congregation is planning a Mid-Autumn Festival Outreach Event and is looking for volunteers to help make it a welcoming and enjoyable afternoon for the community. We are seeking expressions of interest from anyone who would like to help host activity and games booths during the event.
When: Saturday 26 September, 2:00pm – 5:00pm (time TBC)
If you are keen to serve and be involved, please reach out to Emily for more information.Sri Lanka Short-Term Mission Team Departure: The mission team will depart this Friday (3 July) at 2:10pm, travelling via Singapore to Colombo, Sri Lanka. Please continue to pray for the team's safe travel, smooth transit and entry arrangements, and that they would be prepared in body, mind, and spirit to serve faithfully as witnesses of the gospel.
3 Strands Connect 2.0 — The next 3 Strands Connect 2.0 event is happening 10:45am–12:00pm on Sunday 5 July. The topic is "Careers" — come along to hear some of our sisters share their career journeys and God's guidance along the way.
Deacon Board News: The 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Saturday, 25 July, at 1:30pm. All members are warmly invited to set aside time to attend punctually and take an active interest in the affairs of the church. Please also pray for the proceedings of the meeting, that the Lord would guide it to a smooth and fruitful conclusion.
Giving
Let us remember the joy of giving and the blessings it brings to both the giver and the receiver. Tithe offering is a duty of all Christians. By giving, we honour God and fulfill His work through our church. May God bless the offering we willingly give. Prayer Items for this Week
Pray that as we reflect on Psalm 150, we would be a people marked by exuberant praise — praising God not just for what He has done, but simply for who He is. May our worship overflow into every part of our lives.
Pray for the Sri Lanka Short-Term Mission Team as they depart this Friday. Ask God for safe travel, smooth transit through Singapore, and a body, mind, and spirit fully prepared to serve as faithful witnesses of the gospel in Sri Lanka.
Pray for the upcoming AGM on 25 July — that the Lord would guide the proceedings, give wisdom and unity to all who attend, and bring the meeting to a smooth and fruitful conclusion for the good of the whole church.
