Mission Month Pledge Response — We now have 19 people who have responded! Local Mission (M3) has received pledges of NZ$2,300, and Overseas Mission (M4) has received pledges of NZ$6,550. This is the first step we're taking together. With one week left until the 27 September response deadline, we warmly invite anyone who hasn't yet responded to join in. Mid-Autumn Carnival
The Evangelism Department of the Cantonese Service will host a Mid-Autumn Carnival on Saturday 26 September, 1:00–4:00pm. There will be festive snacks, lantern riddles, games and crafts, video programmes, and health information activities. Suitable for all ages, free entry. You are warmly welcome to invite your friends and family to join us!3 Strands — Our 3 Strands session is today, 10:45am–12pm. All ladies are welcome to join us as we share life stories and experiences of self-care in a relaxed setting. Let's be still and chill in God's presence.
Pastoral update — Rev ET Wong will be away from Monday to Thursday (21–24 September) attending a preachers' conference in Hastings. Please keep him in your prayers for safe travel and for refreshment and encouragement through the conference.
Daylight Saving — Next Sunday (27 September) is the start of Daylight Saving. Please remember to set your clocks forward one hour before you go to bed this coming Saturday night (26 September), from 2:00am to 3:00am.

Prayer Items for this Week
Pray that we would trust God's sovereign hand even in events and circumstances we cannot see or fully understand.
Pray for confidence that nothing can stop what God has purposed for His people, even when we feel unaware of what is happening around us.
Pray that we would rest in the assurance that God is at work behind the scenes, turning even opposition into blessing for His purposes.
