Giving
Let us remember the joy of giving and the blessings it brings to both the giver and the receiver. Tithe offering is a duty of all Christians. By giving, we honour God and fulfill His work through our church. May God bless the offering we willingly give. For more details on how you can give, please visit our church website: https://holywordchurch.org.nz/en/giving.
Prayer Items
Pray that as we learn from Psalm 5:3, we would begin each day by lifting our voices to the Lord, trusting that He hears our prayers and learning to wait expectantly for His guidance and help.
Pray for communities impacted by the severe storms and landslides around Mount Maunganui. Ask the Lord to protect lives, comfort those who have lost loved ones or homes, calm fearful hearts, and grant wisdom and strength to government agencies and emergency workers as recovery and rebuilding continue.
Pray for mercy for those affected by the Nipah virus outbreak in West Bengal. Ask God to restrain the spread of the virus, give wisdom to medical and public health workers, protect the vulnerable, and grant hope and peace to people living in fear and uncertainty.
