We ask for your care, understanding, and ongoing support in prayer, as together we build up a church after God’s own heart.

5. Roof Replacement Project Update: The contractor recently set up scaffolding by the kitchen exterior wall to measure the roof dimensions for material purchase. Please take care when passing through this area and remind children to keep away for safety.
6. Prayer for Steve: Please continue to keep Steve in prayer as he awaits his PET scan to confirm the next stage of treatment. Pray for God’s peace to guard his heart, for strength in body and spirit, and for wisdom for the medical team. Also pray for Grace, that she may be sustained with comfort and encouragement.
Giving
Let us remember the joy of giving and the blessings it brings to both the giver and the receiver. Tithe offering is a duty of all Christians. By giving, we honour God and fulfill His work through our church. May God bless the offering we willingly give. For more details on how you can give, please visit our church website: https://holywordchurch.org.nz/en/giving.
Prayer Items
Leviticus Sermon Series – Pray that God will use the upcoming 10-sermon journey through Leviticus to deepen our understanding of holiness and worship. May the first message, “Honouring God with Gifts” (Lev. 1–3), help us respond to God with grateful and obedient hearts.
New Deacons – Pray for the newly elected deacons, that God will grant them wisdom, humility, and strength as they serve the church faithfully and lead by example.
Upcoming Baptism – Pray for those preparing for baptism, that their faith may be strengthened, their testimony be a blessing to many, and that the service would glorify God.
Steve – Pray for God’s peace to guard his heart, for strength in body and spirit, and for wisdom for the medical team. Also pray for Grace, that she may be sustained with comfort and encouragement.
