Hymn Sharing: Caring Department will organise a Hymn Sharing and Dinner event on Sunday 13 June, 4:30pm - 6pm. All 3 congregations are welcome to join. Participants may enter as solo, family, or group performance. Sign up for the hymn sharing and pre-paid dinner are available at the front desk. (a) Mission 1: Local - friends, family, classmates, colleagues and neighbours of brothers and sisters in HWC
(b) Mission 2: Community - people within Auckland
(c) Mission 3: National - people within New Zealand outside of Auckland
(d) Mission 4: International
Remember the August Mission Month in your prayer. Mission department is preparing for the occasion. May God make us understand M1 - M4 and the meaning of the Great Commission.
Mission Department has decided to donate $2,000 from the M4 account in aid of CEMHK’s 2nd stage construction of their Bible Seminary in the Northern region of Thailand. The seminary has started a 3 year Divinity course, a 2 year Masters course for Pastoral Ministry, and Masters night classes for Discipleship training. Praise the Lord for increasing the numbers of lecturer, students, and staff members in the seminary in the past 5 years, which prompted the 2nd stage campus construction. Prayer Items for the Week
The motto for this year will remain the same as previous year. Pray that brothers and sisters can live out the church motto this year - "Renew our lives, become His disciples."
Pray for the Deacon election in July. May God find the suitable person to serve His people and church.
Pray for pastoral recruitment for the Senior Pastor and English service pastor.
A new pastor has been hired for the Cantonese service. Please pray for her application of the work visa. May God give her peace in her wait.
