  4. Finance Department News: ANZ Bank will stop accepting cheque deposits from 31 May 2021. To make an offering, please transfer to the church’s ANZ account by internet banking, or insert cash into the offering box in the church.
    a) Remember to write down your legal name and congregation when you fill out the donation form or online deposits for the purpose of tax records. Any further inquiries please contact deacon Amy Yeung. (see below image)

    b) The contact information update forms were distributed last Sunday. Please return if you have not done so. Please include Legal Name of donation receipt, Preferred Name, Email address or Physical address, then drop into the green box on the usher’s desk. If your contact information remains unchanged, then the form does not need to be updated or returned. Any queries please reach out to Stanley.

  5. Hymn Sharing: Caring Department will organise a Hymn Sharing and Dinner event on Sunday 13 June, 4:30pm - 6pm. All 3 congregations are welcome to join. Participants may enter as solo, family, or group performance. Sign up for the hymn sharing and pre-paid dinner are available at the front desk. For further inquiries please contact sister Jenny and Jane.

  6. Love our Church and save energy: Please remember to check all doors and windows are closed properly after the meeting, so it will avoid the alarm to be falsely sounded. The Church has to pay extra cost when a security comes to check. Please also turn off the air conditioning and electrical appliances after used.

  7. India Covid-19 Donation: India is suffering in the Covid-19 crisis. Our church is appealing on behalf of Red Cross NZ for donations to help the people of India with lifesaving medical equipment including oxygen cylinders, ventilators, anti-viral drugs, and vaccinations. Donations can be put into the donation box by today, or go online at www.redcross.org.nz

Mission Information

  1. Please continue to pray for C and H&P for their family and serving in the mission field..

  2. Remember the August Mission Month in your prayer. Mission department is preparing for the occasion. May God make us understand the meaning of the Great Commission.

  3. Missionary James Che and his wife has received the first dose of the COVID vaccine. Please pray that God will give them good health. They are planning to return to Tanzania in June. May God’s mercy come upon the land.

Prayer Items for the Week

  1. The motto for this year will remain the same as previous year. Pray that brothers and sisters can live out the church motto this year - "Renew our lives, become His disciples."

  2. Pray for the Deacon election in July. May God find the suitable person to serve His people and church.

  3. Pray for pastoral recruitment for the Senior Pastor and English service pastor.

  4. A new pastor has been hired for the Cantonese service. Please pray for her application of the work visa. May God give her peace in her wait.

  5. Pray for the global pandemic of Covid-19. May God provide peace and comfort to people who are in need.
