  1. A warm welcome to everyone who's joining us for the first time this morning. We are delighted to have you here.

  2. We would like to encourage our brothers and sisters to wear a mask or face covering when attending our activities. As you are entering into the church building, please remember to sanitise your hands and sign in using the NZ COVID Tracer App or write your name down on the attendance form. We will continue to live stream our Sunday services online for those who needed to stay home.

  3. 51st Baptism will be held on 4 April as a combined service from all three congregation. For those who wants to be baptised, please contact any Deacon, Pastor or your Small Group Leader. Deadline is 7th March. All applicants are required to have their nurturing course completed. Once an application is received, baptism class will be arranged and the deacons will meet with you to confirm your faith. Please also contact us if you would like to have your church membership transferred to HWC or would like to have child dedication.

Mission Information

  1. Please pray for Pastor Janet Tam’s visa application for April to September this year. She will have completed the first term of her three-year-mission in Sri Lanka in May, and plans to return to Hong Kong to report her mission organisation and apply for a second term contract. May God guide her way in this pandemic situation.

  2. Pastor James Che’s health has improved. Give thanks to the Lord and continue to pray for the restoration of his immune system.

  3. HWC’s support for Smile Lanka of $3,000 and for the “Praying for Muslims” initiatives have been fully funded. Praise the Lord! Please continue to pray for the needs of overseas missions

Prayer Items for the Week

  1. Pray for pastoral recruitment for the Senior Pastor and English services Pastor.

  2. The motto for this year will remain the same as previous year. Pray that brothers and sisters can live out the church motto this year - "Renew our lives, become His disciples."

  3. A new pastor has been hired for the Cantonese service. Please pray for her application of the work visa. May God give her peace in her wait.

  4. Continue to pray for the world during COVID-19 period. Thank God that NZ has not been impacted as much. May God brings peace to those who are impacted and give us all a vigilant heart.
