The Evangelism Department of the Cantonese Service will host a Mid-Autumn Carnival on Saturday 26 September, 1:00–4:00pm. Let us remember the joy of giving and the blessings it brings to both the giver and the receiver. Tithe offering is a duty of all Christians. Prayer Items for this Week
Pray that we would grasp the mystery Paul reveals in Ephesians 3 — that in Christ, those once far off have been brought all the way in, made fellow heirs and one body — and that this reconciled church would be God's showpiece before a watching world.
Pray that, like Paul writing from prison, we would not lose heart in the face of our own struggles, but rest in the same grace by which any one of us can come to God — right now, just as we are.
Pray for open and receptive hearts as we gather around the Lord's Table this first Sunday, that Holy Communion would draw us afresh into the wisdom and love of God displayed in Christ.
