Covid-19 Updates
Confirmed cases of COVID-19 have recently emerged from returning New Zealanders from overseas.
There is no evidence of community transmission at this stage.
The church will continue to stream our services online for those who have health concerns that need to stay home.
Brothers and sisters, please continue to follow the health advice issued by the Government.
Whenever you are at church, please scan your name tag, or write your name on the form at the usher’s desk.
Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on the 25th of July at 1:30 pm. All members please reserved the time. Members who have over 50% of attendance over the last 12 months will have the right to vote. Any members who are unable to attend the AGM can authorise another member to vote on your behalf by filling out a proxy form. Please return the proxy form to the church at least 24 hours before the AGM. The meeting documentation will be sent out to the members on the 11th of July.
Bible Reading Plan
We would like to invite you to join our Bible reading plan community on YouVersion. We aim to encourage us to read, study and meditate the Word of God together. Mission Information
Please continue to pray for Pastor Tam’s ministry and the spiritual life of the congregation, especially for those who are greatly affected by the pandemic. Pray for Pastor Janet Tam who is currently applying for a third-year missionary work visa. Her daughter in Australia has a baby due in September so she is also planning a visit to her then.
Give thanks to God! The Tanzanian church is now adding dormitories and worship halls to the new site, and the project is in full swing. Please continue to pray for the building cost, which is around USD 92,000. Pray that the Lord will keep the whole project running smoothly and the church can bless the local Chinese and expand the kingdom of God!
Prayer Items for the Week
Pray for the upcoming Evangelism Explosion course. May God encourages brothers and sisters to join and become Gospel warriors, and may God guide us to approach potential Gospel targets.
Pray for pastoral recruitment for the Senior Pastor, Cantonese and English services.
Pray that brothers and sisters can live out the church motto this year - "Renew our lives, become His disciples."
