Church meetings after June
Confirmed cases of COVID-19 have recently emerged from returning New Zealanders from overseas.
There is no community transmission at this stage.
Some children and senior members, or those with health concerns, are worried about the virus and are still staying home for online service.
All three congregations will still be holding physical Sunday services from July, while simultaneously broadcasting the services online.
Brothers and sisters should continue to follow the health advice issued by the Government.

HWC Financial Overview-Consolidated Income & Expense Reports - April and May 2020
Owing to the delay in the auditing of the church accounts, the Annual General Meeting of HWC scheduled for 11th July has been postponed to 1:30 pm on 25th July. Please reserve the time to attend.
Pastor Timothy Lim of the Mandarin congregation will be on leave from 24th to 30th of June.
Bible Reading Plan

Mission Information
S&C and H&P remain in New Zealand and will likely stay here until August when Air NZ will re-open flights to their mission fields. Pray for S&C, H&P and other mission workers in the field so that they may continue to stay in position to serve the Lord.
The Sri Lanka government has lifted the curfew. Praise the Lord! Pastor Tam’s church resumes worship today. Please continue to pray for Pastor Tam’s ministry and the spiritual life of the congregation. And pray for Pastor Tam who is currently applying for a third-year missionary work visa. Her daughter in Australia has a baby due in September so she is also planning a visit to her then.
Give thanks to God! The Tanzanian church is now adding dormitories and worship halls to the new site, and the project is in full swing. Pray that the Lord will keep the whole project running smoothly and the church can bless the local Chinese and expand the kingdom of God!
Prayer Items for the Week
Pray for the upcoming Evangelism Explosion course. May God encourages brothers and sisters to join and become Gospel warriors, and may God guide us to approach potential Gospel targets.
Pray for pastoral recruitment for the Senior Pastor, Cantonese and English services.
Pray that brothers and sisters can live out the church motto this year - "Renew our lives, become His disciples."
