Announcements
A very warm welcome to everyone who's visiting us for the first time this morning. We are delighted to have you here.
There will be morning tea after the worship service. Feel free to stay behind and enjoy a time of fellowship.
The new church motto, “Renew Our Lives. Become His Disciples”, be begin next week. May everyone resolve to live out this motto.
End of year thanksgiving night will be held on 31 Dec at 7:30 pm. Brothers and sisters are encouraged to join in and count God’s blessing from 2019.
Floral dedication for next year is still available. Please sign up at the usher's desk. Christian parents may dedicate on behalf of their children.
Recently there have been a number of books and audio-visual resources left at the library without any notes or contact details. While we appreciate donations from brothers and sisters, it would be great if you could first contact either Even Leung or Fred Ling.
Mission Information
Please pray for our fellow brothers and sisters who are going on mission trips this summer; Marco (Taiwan), Daniel, Jeri, Johnny (Nelson), Luke (Auckland), Pastor Paul Wong (Turkey). May God strengthen their hearts to bear testimonies for Him, give them physical and spiritual health and let them experience His presence.
James Che was undergoing injection treatment last week in order to stimulate his stem cells. May God strengthen him and ease the side effect of the treatment. He will undergo the stem cell extraction process tomorrow to prepare for bone marrow therapy in the future. Please pray for a successful process.
Pastor Janet has introduced us to Smile Lanka, a school in Hambantota, Sri Lanka. It was founded by Smile International in 2005, providing education and offer job training to women in the poorest area. But Smile International stopped sponsoring due to shortage of donation last November. This ministry is now taken over by the local Baptist church, which is desperately in need of financial support (USD17,000 per annum). Our church is planning to fundraise NZD3,000 to support their ministry. Please continue to offer to our overseas mission fund (M4).
Prayer Items for the Week
