Mission Information

  1. Please pray for our fellow brothers and sisters who are going on mission trips this summer; Marco (Taiwan), Daniel, Jeri, Johnny (Nelson), Luke (Auckland), Pastor Paul Wong (Turkey). May God strengthen their hearts to bear testimonies for Him, give them physical and spiritual health and let them experience His presence.

  2. Praise the Lord. James Che underwent the stem cell extraction process last week which is for prepare for bone marrow therapy in the future. It is very successful. Please pray for James Che and his wife who will fly back to Tanzania to continue his ministry on Saturday 11th Jan, and is also preparing for Christian education for the church.

  3. Pastor Janet has introduced us to Smile Lanka, a school in Hambantota, Sri Lanka. It was founded by Smile International in 2005, providing education and offer job training to women in the poorest area. But Smile International stopped sponsoring due to shortage of donation last November. This ministry is now taken over by the local Baptist church, which is desperately in need of financial support (USD17,000 per annum). Our church is planning to fundraise NZD3,000 to support their ministry. Please continue to offer to our overseas mission fund (M4).

Prayer Items for the Week

  1. Please pray for pastoral recruitment for the Cantonese and English services, as well as the visa application process of the newly recruited pastors for the Mandarin and Cantonese services.

  2. Church Expansion: Pray for this final phase of the project.

  3. Pray for brothers and sisters may be travelling domestically and internationally, may they have a safe journey and remain close to the Lord.
