  4. Early-bird registration for this year’s camp is now opened! This year’s topic is “The Cost of the Cross” with Aaron Geddis as the main speaker. Date: Friday 29th November 6pm - Sunday 1st December 2pm . Location: Peter Snell Youth Village 1212 Whangaparaoa Rd, Gulf Harbour, Whangaparaoa. From now until 1 October we are offering the following prices: Students - $118 and Working - $124, so sign up today!

  5. To encourage all brothers and sisters to understand missionary, an international organisation, InterCP and HWC will held a mission course together, which has 8 lessons (the last 5 lessons will be held in a camp). Speakers/lecturers are missionaries who knows about the needs in mission fields. The course will try to cater for different language needs. Location: HWC, Date: 5th October (Saturday) - 19th October (Saturday), Time: 6.30 - 9.30pm. Camp Date: 25th-26th October (tentatively) location: TBA. Please register at the Usher desk by 29th September. Please contact Pastor Tony Yeung for any query.

  6. The 49th Baptism will be held on 6 October 2019. Brothers and sisters who is interested in baptism, church membership, or child dedication may apply to the pastoral team or deacons. Deadline for application is 15 September.

  7. Mid-Autumn Festival Gala will be held on 14 September at 5:00 pm - 8:30 pm. The program will include game booth, refreshment, and variety performance. Brothers and sisters are welcome to invite friends and family. Please register in advance at the usher’s desk by 8 September. For more information please contact Kenneth Fong.

Mission Information

  1. Mission department has made a pamphlet to help brothers and sisters to learn more about some mission related news. You may view the booklet by clicking HERE

  2. S&C are looking for more classrooms for their teaching. Please pray for their establishment of further teaching points and fervent hearts for their ministries.

  3. Thank God that H&P have completed their training course and gained more understanding of their mission field. Please pray for H as he prepares to be the interpreter of a large-scale meeting.

  4. Rev Janet Tam has returned to Sri Lanka, pray for God’s grace and strength to come upon Rev Janet’s ministry.

    Prayer Items for the Week

    1. We encourage brothers and sisters to pray for Hong Kong's government and peace in the society. Pray for the people safety in Hong Kong. Pray for God's guidance during this event.

      1. Pray for the newly elected Deacon Board who take office from this month for two years. May the Lord guide them to be obedient and God-pleasing custodians of the church, give them wisdom and health to lead the church in serving God and all the brothers and sisters.

      2. Following the HWC leadership retreat, the leadership team has decided on the new church motto for the next 2 years - “Renew Our Lives. Become His Disciples”. Pray that brothers and sisters can live out this motto.

      3. Please pray for the recruitment of senior pastor, English youth pastor, Cantonese and Mandarin pastors.
