Mission News
Please remember to pray for the ministry of S & C. May the Lord strengthen them in leading the team and training church leaders.
Lift up H & P in prayer as they embark on a week-long online intensive course. Also, pray for the preparation of next year's missionary training program. May the Lord prepare and bring forth participants.
Keep Reverend Janet Tam in your prayers as the China Evangelistic Mission organises a short-term mission trip to Sri Lanka at the end of November. Pray for a meaningful visit and service.
Pray for H & Y who have been in contact with a large Muslim family, comprising Muslims, Christians, and open-minded individuals. May the Lord aid in enlightening those open-minded individuals through H & Y and the message of the Gospel.
Rejoice as James Che and his wife Jessica have arrived in Ethiopia to participate in local church building efforts. They have found a new location and started the first worship service last Sunday. Pray for strength for the couple and the establishment of a strong congregation.
Prayer Items for the Week
Grateful for the successful surgery undergone by Yen Yen (Connie Wong's four-year-old granddaughter) last month, which successfully removed 1/4 of the tumor. However, she still needs to undergo chemotherapy and radiation therapy to eliminate the remaining tumor. Recently, doctors need to extract some fluid from the brain to reduce swelling in the head. Praying that the Lord Jesus will safeguard Yen Yen's treatment, make it smooth, minimize any side effects, and bring about a speedy recovery.
Let us come together in prayer, seeking the grace of God to bring lasting peace to the Israel-Gaza conflict. May the Lord's hand guide and inspire all parties involved towards a peaceful and just resolution, where the rights and well-being of all people in the region are respected, and suffering comes to an end.
Pray that God would bless the efforts of our church leaders to equip the members of our congregation to minister to each other.
Pray for our church members to discover a sense of ownership and to wholeheartedly commit to constructing our lives on the solid foundation of Jesus Christ..
