  3. Ministry of Health notified the church on Monday, informing us that someone who was at church last Sunday 10 April from 8:30AM to 10:30AM was later confirmed to be tested positive. An email was sent out to notify those who attended English in-person worship according to government guidelines. Please monitor for symptoms and get tested if symptoms develop. Isolation is not required.

  4. Easter Sunday Service: For this service, we will try to use Telegram Messenger to do the English translation during the sermon time.   6. 30 Days of Prayer for the Muslim World: An estimated 1 million Christians will participate in this prayer movement during Ramadan. The objective of this movement is to see the Muslim community through the merciful eyes and heart of the Lord. May we learn more about God’s love and blessing to the Muslim world by prayer.

  7. English Service will return to the Main Hall: Under the Orange Light setting, the English congregation will return to the main hall for Sunday service starting next Sunday, 24 April at 9am.

  8. Praise the Lord! Fung and Liz welcomed their new baby boy, Jordan, to their family on 13 April. He weighs 3.655 kg. The whole family is doing well. Please for Liz’s recovery and Jordan’s health.

  9. English Service Live Stream is currently operated by a small team of volunteers. The church is looking for more brothers and sisters to join the team. You will only need the heart to serve as training will be provided. Please contact Daniel or Herman for more details.

Mission News

  1. Pray for S&C’s ministry. May the Lord keep their faith and strength to withstand the “harsh winter”.

  2. Praise the Lord for H&P have found a suitable school for their children. They are in the process of enrollment now. The family plan to go to the mission field in June and will spend a period of time learning the language. May the Lord give them strength and wisdom.

  3. Pray for Rev. Janet Tam as she learns the local Sinhalese language. May God give her wisdom to be able to communicate with the local Sinhalese people. And pray for the local political situation.

  4. Pray for the course of treatment that Pastor James Che will be undertaking, and may God give him good health and strength. May God remember and guide the registration process of the Tanzanian church, and the purchasing of land for their church building.

  1. Pray for the church members who are infected with COVID-19. May the Lord keep them and give peace to them and their family.

  2. Pray for New Zealand’s pandemic situation as the daily confirmed cases remain high. May God remember those affected by the pandemic.

  3. Pray that the war in Ukraine can end soon and that the governments can come to a peaceful resolution.
