Mission News
S & C will come to Holy Word Church to share about their ministry when they return to NZ in July. Please pray for her.
Pastor Janet Tam had visited and preached in Galle for three days last week. Two men became Christians, and Pastor Tam referred them to the local pastor. May the Lord strengthen the new believers’ faith.
Pray for H & Y’s ministry and health. There were many local young people seeking their support recently, which is exhausting for them. Please pray for the new believers as well as people who are seeking the truth.
Pray for Pastor James Che and Jessica who had returned to New Zealand from the US. May the Lord give them strength to recharge and resume their journey.
Prayer Items for the Week
Rev. Man and his wife have embarked on a mission trip to Vanuatu. Their schedule in the next month include sermons on four consecutive Sundays, three Bible study groups spanning fifteen sessions, visitations and evangelization May the Lord give them strength in body and in spirit, and also the talent to preach in Mandarin. Pray for the participants to understand God’s words and follow the Lord’s teaching.
Pray for the Evangelism Department's Friendship Evangelistic Visitation Programme. Pray that the Lord would use brothers and sisters to reach out to their families and friends and relatives in their efforts to spread the Gospel.
Pray for those who are willing to accept deacon candidacy nominations as well as those who are not ready to be nominated yet, that the Lord would give them strength for future ministry in the church.
Pray for the gospel needs of the North Shore as more Cantonese-speaking people move there. The mission fields are vast, let's seek God's guidance together and help us see what is needed.
