Mission News
Sri-Lanka is a country that has many gods and idols, but the short-term mission trip team has felt that God has prepared the heart for the locals as they were willing to join in a conversation. There were 9 people who accepted Christ and 10 who are willing to explore deeper into Christianity. May God strength their faith and provide wisdom to pastor Tam.
Praise the Lord, the short-term mission team has raised $10,068.67 for the trip. Thank you for everyone’s contributions.
Please pray for the physical, mental, and spiritual well-being of the members of the short-term mission team. We will have representatives sharing their testimonies at all three services next Sunday (30/04).
Prayer Items for the Week
Today is the deadline (4/23) for the nomination of candidates for the deacon election. Let us pray for those who are willing to be nominated and those who are not ready to be nominated yet. May God strengthen them for their future ministry in the church.
Pray for the gospel needs of the North Shore as more Cantonese-speaking people move there. The mission fields are vast, let's seek God's guidance together and help us see what is needed.
Pray for everyone to strive to practice the theme of the year,: Love as He Loved • Love with His Love.
Pray for everyone’s physical and spiritual health. The weather is also getting colder so may God strengthen our body against the flu.
