30th Anniversary Celebration Dinner The long-awaited 30th-anniversary celebration is approaching. Here are some arrangements for worship and dinner on that day (19/5). Please take note:
a) The three congregations will hold a combined worship service starting at 10 am. As there will be visiting pastors from other churches, the designated caring parking spaces at the main entrance will be reserved. The row of parking spaces opposite will be reserved for guest pastors. Brothers and sisters are kindly requested to park their cars at the back and across the church. Thank you for your cooperation.
b) The celebration dinner will take place with 27 tables at the Panmure Imperial Palace Restaurant, starting at 5:30 pm. There will be exciting performances and games. Please arrive on time. Seating arrangements have been made, please follow the seating plan ( will be posted at the entrance of the restaurant). Thank you for your cooperation.
c) Due to limited parking spaces at the restaurant, please arrange transportation in advance and carpool if possible to save time and fuel.
d) As for the dinner arrangements, tea will be provided, so please do not bring your own beverages.
As we gear up for the celebration of our church's 30th anniversary, Pastor ET has arranged two special sessions during our TNT time. Today, we invite you to join us, where we will delve into the story of Pastor Andrew Gih, the founder of ECF. Learn about his journey, his struggles, and the faith that propelled him to serve God faithfully. Next Sunday, we will continue our journey through history as we focus on the story of HWC. Discover the trials and triumphs that have defined our church over the past three decades. We encourage all members to attend.
Prayer Items for the Week
Thank the Lord for leading our church to grow roots in the East Auckland area for thirty years, spreading the gospel from the local Cantonese community to the English and Mandarin-speaking communities. May the Lord use the combined worship service and dinner on the 19th of May for the thirtieth anniversary to unite the three congregations as one, accompanied by the love of the Lord, passing on His teachings, and establishing a healthy church that loves God and loves people.
Pray that each member of our congregation would develop a hunger for God's Word, seeking its guidance in every aspect of life. Pray for open hearts and receptive spirits as we study and meditate on Scripture individually and corporately.
Pray for our church leaders, that they may be equipped and empowered by the Holy Spirit to faithfully teach and preach the Word, leading us into a deeper understanding of God's truth.
