Announcements
A warm welcome to everyone who joined us this morning. We are delighted to see you all.
The 24th Annual General Meeting and the 13th Deacon Election will be held on Saturday, 26 July at 1:30 PM. We warmly invite all brothers and sisters to attend and to remember the event in prayer. May the Lord graciously guide the entire preparation process and grant a smooth and fruitful meeting and election.
The deacon nomination process has been completed. We now announce the final list of deacon candidates for this term:
Tina Wong, Cassandra Chan, Daisy Pun, and Anshun Wong.
Each candidate will prepare a brief personal introduction, which will be displayed on the church kitchen noticeboard for brothers and sisters to learn more about their background and ministry experience.
Please continue to pray for the upcoming election, asking the Lord to personally appoint His chosen servants to faithfully serve together in the church.
Pastor Ernest Kwok of the Mandarin Congregation has recently been diagnosed with bowel cancer. Doctors have recommended that he undergo chemotherapy first, followed by surgery. The specific dates for the treatment and surgery have yet to be confirmed. With Pastor Kwok’s consent, we sincerely ask brothers and sisters to uphold him in prayer. May the Lord personally watch over and guide every step of the treatment process, and grant Pastor Kwok and his wife peace and strength from God — in body, mind, and spirit.
This year, we are excited to partner with CMINZ in their cross-cultural mission work, serving Muslim refugee families. As part of this initiative, we’ll be spending a Saturday morning (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM) with the children at the Wesley Community Centre.
The first hour will be dedicated to going through some engaging study materials together, helping to build connection and learning. In the second hour, we’ll enjoy some fun time with them through sports and other interactive activities.

Giving
Let us remember the joy of giving and the blessings it brings to both the giver and the receiver. Tithe offering is a duty of all Christians. By giving, we honour God and fulfill His work through our church. May God bless the offering we willingly give. Prayer Items
Responding to the Word: Pray that as we reflect on John 6:1–15, we would see Jesus not only as the miracle worker but as the true bread of life. Ask the Lord to deepen our faith and help us trust Him with our needs and follow Him wholeheartedly.
For Pastor Ernest Kwok: Pray for Pastor Kwok as he prepares for chemotherapy and surgery. Ask God to strengthen him and his wife with peace, comfort, and healing throughout the treatment process. Pray also for wisdom and skill for the medical team.
Responding to the Mission Call: Pray that our hearts would be open and responsive as we join CMINZ in serving Muslim refugee families. Ask God to stir within us a love for the nations and a willingness to step out of our comfort zones to reflect Christ’s love, especially as we prepare to connect with the children at Wesley Community Centre.
