The deacon board has decided that we will only restart in-person Sunday service at Covid-19 Alert Level 1. We will continue to keep track of attendance to online services.
Church Camp: Our speaker, Mark Maney, will be preaching on the theme of Restoration - Life can be filled with uncertainties, disappointments and destruction. But what if things are being restored? How is God working in today's chaotic world?

Equip conference 2022 is now open for registration. It is a 5 day conference where people gather in small groups to be trained to understand and teach the word of God. Fellow brothers and sisters that attended in the past have gained a deeper understanding of God and his word and our congregation is encouraged to attend. Mission News
After two years of praying for muslims, the mission department is now in early stages of preparation to send more missionaries to muslim regions. We pray for workers to answer the calling to spread the gospel to muslims.
Remember S&C in your prayers. May God continue to guide them in their difficult situations. Pray that they can continue to minister and strengthen their small groups, Bible studies, co-workers, students and their parents.
Remember H&P in your prayers. A response from God that H will return to NZ at the end of October, and will apply for a visa to visit South Asia Creative Access Nations. Creative Access Nations are those countries or regions where missionaries are not welcome. May the Lord prepare the way in His Mighty Hand. Pray for H who will debrief at Holy Word Church, pray that a suitable time can be arrange.
Please pray for Rev Janet Tam that her missionary in Galle, the Southern City of Sri Lanka. May the Lord prepare an evangelism co-worker for Rev Janet Tam to expand the Kingdom of God.
Remember James and Jessica’s ministry in Tanzania. Pray that God will strengthen them and give them good health to expand God’s kingdom.
Prayer Items for the Week
Pray for pastoral recruitment for the Senior Pastor, English Service Pastor and Mandarin Service Pastor.
A new pastor has been hired for the Cantonese service. Please pray for her application of the work visa. May God give her peace in her wait.
The motto for this year will remain the same as previous year. Pray that brothers and sisters can live out the church motto this year - "Renew our lives, become His disciples."
Thank God that Auckland has moved to alert level 3, However in-person Sunday service will only take place at alert level 1. Pray for the current COVID-19 situation in New Zealand and those affected by the lockdown.
