  1. A warm welcome to everyone who's joining us for the first time this morning. We are delighted to have you here.

  2. We would like to encourage our brothers and sisters to wear a mask or face covering when attending our activities. As you are entering into the church building, please remember to sanitise your hands and sign in using the NZ COVID Tracer App or write your name down on the attendance form. We will continue to live stream our Sunday services online for those who needed to stay home.

  4. 19th Annual General Meeting will be held at the Church on Saturday, 14th August 2021 at 2:00p.m. The 11th Deacons election will be held on the same day. Members will receive a notification letter 2 weeks before the AGM.
    According to the Church Constitution:
    (a) the AGM must be held with 50% of members attendance and who have attended more than half of the worship services in the past 52 weeks.
    (b) if members cannot attend the AGM, who can authorise a church member to attend and vote. Each attending member can only be authorised by three members at most.
    (c) The unattending members must get ballots and envelopes from the secretary to vote. Then ballots in sealed envelopes must be returned to the secretary by 2:00p.m. on or before 13th August.
    (d) The AGM will be postponed to the following week if there is a pandamic.
    (e) FY20/21 financial report and FY21/22 budgeting report will be emailed to members. Should you have any queries, please feel free to email your queries to Finance department. They will answer your queries in the AGM.

  5. Church Camp: We are excited to announce that the church camp this year will be held at the Peter Snell Youth Campsite from Friday 3rd December to Sunday 5th December. Put it in your calendars and diaries and more information on the theme and registration will be coming out shortly. Please pray for the camp theme development process, that the theme developed would be applicable to us and our hearts can be engaged to respond to the work of the Holy Spirit.

  1. August Mission month:
    Theme: Perspectives of Mission
    Hymn: People need the Lord
    Purpose: A deep understanding of God’s plan - the congreation will rekindle their enthusiasm for missions, so that everyone knows how to respond every mission opportunity
    Thoughts: What are the prespective of our M1-M4 missionary during pandamic?
    Topics and speakers as follows:
    (a) 1st Aug: Herman Yeung (English service) (M1 missionary)
    (b) 8th Aug: Mr. Kaul Udy - Tandem Ministriesl (M2 missionary)
    (c) 15th Aug: Rev Daniel Huang - Care Ministries International (M4 missionary)
    (d) 22nd Aug: Rev Clement Man (M3 missionary)
    (e) 29th Aug: Mr. George Weiland - My Mission (Combined Service)
    May the Lord use His servants that all brother & sisters in Christ understand M1-M4 missionary and to commit, to expand the Kingdom of God together.

  2. Pray for our M4 missionary support, this M4 missionary support target for the coming year is $24,500. If the target is exceeded we will look to support additional missionaries to go into the mission field in muslim countries.

  3. Give thanks for S & C. S and children have returned to mission field late last year by God’s amazing grace. May God give the children wisdom to adjust to the schooling in the mission field.

  4. Pray for H who is pastoring three churches in the mission field, and running training courses for cross-cultural mission. P and their son are waiting to return to mission field from Auckland, may God open a way for them.

  5. Praise the Lord! Rev. Janet Tam has raised HKD$730,000 of mission funds. Please pray for her minor surgey that will be on 29th July in HK. May the Lord look after her surgey. Please also pray for her to get an air ticket to fly to South Sri Lanka and continue to serve the Lord.

  6. Mr. James Che and his wife Jessica returned to Tanzania last Saturday safetly. Please pary for local church and its students to keep their faith in the Lord. Please also pray for pandamic and may the Lord stop virus spreading.

Prayer Items for the Week

  1. The motto for this year will remain the same as previous year. Pray that brothers and sisters can live out the church motto this year - "Renew our lives, become His disciples."

  2. Pray for the Deacon election in July. May God find the suitable person to serve His people and church.

  3. Pray for pastoral recruitment for the Senior Pastor and English service pastor.

  4. A new pastor has been hired for the Cantonese service. Please pray for her application of the work visa. May God give her peace in her wait.

  5. Pray for the global pandemic. May God’s mercy restore the order and peace of the world.

  6. Pray for the evangelical event last Friday, that the newcomers will have the seed of the Gospel in their heart to draw them towards knowing God further.
