Giving

Let us remember the joy of giving and the blessings it brings to both the giver and the receiver. Tithe offering is a duty of all Christians. By giving, we honour God and fulfill His work through our church. May God bless the offering we willingly give. For more details on how you can give, please visit our church website: https://holywordchurch.org.nz/en/giving.

Prayer Items

  • Pray for the message we heard this morning, that we would recognise Emmanuel — God with us — in the midst of real fears and struggles, and trust Christ as the Saviour who enters our broken and complicated realities with hope and grace.

  • Pray for our church as we move into the new year with the motto “Together in Love, Living out Christ,” asking the Lord to unite us in love, shape us to reflect Christ in our lives, and enable us to live out the gospel faithfully as one body.

  • Pray for our world amid warfare, conflict, and instability, that God would bring peace where there is violence, comfort to the grieving, protection for the vulnerable, and wisdom to leaders, so that His mercy and hope may be known even in times of darkness.
