A warm welcome to everyone who joined us this morning. We are delighted to see you all.
Next week is the 56th Baptism Sunday Combined Service, which will take place at 10:00 AM.
a) There are three individuals being baptised this year: Sui Cheung POON and Chee Too LEE POON from the Cantonese congregation; and Hayden CHENG from the English congregation.
b) Two individuals are being welcomed into church membership: Mureen WONG and Lucia SHUM from the Cantonese congregation.
c) Two children are being dedicated: Esther ZHOU, the daughter of Steven ZHOU and Yvonne ZHANG from the Mandarin congregation; and Bethany FUNG, the daughter of Vincent FUNG and Lina WANG from the English congregation.
For the combined service next week, we will be using Telegram Messenger to do the English translation.

Mission Sunday Response Form: In addition to regularly praying for missionaries and participating in short-term mission trips, we encourage members to support overseas missions (M4) through offerings. The budget for this year is $30,700.00.
Overseas Missions (M4) – 2024/25 Budget: Support for S&C $7,300; H&P $6,800; Pastor Janet Tam $4,700; H&Y $6,300; Smile Lanka $3,500; 30 Days of Prayer for Muslims Campaign $600; Reserve Fund $1,500; Total $30,700.

Mission News
S & C: After the busy summer school activities, pray that the Lord will help them regain strength in rest.
H & P: Their mission home has started classes. Pray for the students' adaptation and learning, and for the newly established local youth fellowship. Remember the many non-believing young people, and pray for the Lord's salvation!
Janet Tam has returned to Hong Kong to report on her work and will be sharing the needs of Sri Lanka with other churches. Pray that the Lord will use her!
H & Y: Give thanks! Their daughter and Y's mother have also flown to the mission field to visit them, bringing much joy. Pray for the new believers and friends H & Y have encountered, asking the Lord to strengthen and comfort them. In September, they will need to host a short-term mission team from the U.S. Pray for the Lord's strength and peace!
James Che and his wife have safely returned to Ethiopia to strengthen the believers in the church. Please pray for the smooth registration of the local church and remember the financial needs of the church there!
Nicholas Yao: The student retreat was successfully held. Pray that the Lord will establish the participants' faith and help them rely more on God. Also, pray for the spiritual atmosphere on campus, asking God to prevent heresies from entering the school.
Prayer Items
Renewed Love for God's Word: Pray that we will grow in our desire to read and understand God's Word, just as the Israelites eagerly listened to the Law.
Open Hearts to Respond to Scripture: Pray that as we hear God's Word, our hearts will be moved to worship, repent, and follow His guidance.
Hope and Strength to Obey God's Word: Ask God to fill us with hope and strength to act on what we learn from Scripture, trusting Him to rebuild our lives and communities.
