Mission Month: Emmanuel Book Centre and Bamboo Resource Centre will set up book fairs at the church dining area on four Sundays through the Mission Month (9/8 to 30/8).
Registered First Aiders: If you are a registered first aider, please provide your details on the form at the ushers’ desk with your name and registration expiry date.
Pastoral recruitment: The Cantonese committee, pastoral team and deacons have interviewed a female pastor for the role of the Cantonese service pastor via video conference, and have listened to her sermon recordings. The pastoral recruitment team will look into the feasibility of her work visa, and then her ministry history. Please keep this recruitment in your prayer.
Deacon nomination committee: Franklin Fung (Chairperson/Deacon representative), Rev ET Wong (Pastoral representative), Nixon Fong (English committee member), Desmond Lee (Cantonese committee member), Sean Wang (Mandarin committee member), Cindy Chiu (Congregation representative), Yvonne Zhang (Congregation representative) will nominate the deacon candidates for 2021 in accordance with the deacon nomination guidelines.
Church Library: The Library Department has just received a number of books. The members who donated these books please get in touch with Even Leung. If brothers and sisters would like to donate anything to the church, please let the leaders or members of the relevant department know about it first.
Congregational news: As part of his theological study, Herman Yeung will begin three-month fieldwork serving in the English service from August. Rev ET Wong will be his supervisor. Please remember Herman’s study in your prayer.

Prayer Items for the Week
Pray for the Evangelism Explosion course that will open in October. May God encourages brothers and sisters to join and become Gospel warriors, and may God guide us to approach potential Gospel targets.
Pray for pastoral recruitment for the Senior Pastor, Cantonese and English services.
Pray that brothers and sisters can live out the church motto this year - "Renew our lives, become His disciples."
