A warm welcome to everyone who's joining us for the first time this morning. We are delighted to have you here.
Church meetings during Alert level 1:
Per the New Zealand official announcement, the country has moved to Alert Level 1 since 9th June:
All church activities now revert to face-to-face meetings.
All three congregations are now holding physical Sunday services, while simultaneously broadcasting the online services until the end of June.
After the end of June, whether online services will continue has yet to be decided.
Brothers and sisters should continue to follow the health advice issued by the Government.
Whenever you are at church, please swipe your name tag, or write your name on the form at the usher’s desk.
The fire exit stairs have now been repaired and is available for use.
For the safety and comfort of brothers and sisters returning to physical church services, the church’s carpet and chairs have been cleaned and sanitized.
A shed has been placed in the car park outside the new building for storage purposes.
The “Pray for Muslim in 30 days” campaign has ended. Thank you all for your prayers. The Mission Department is calling for sharing and reflections from your participation of the campaign to publish in the Mission Month. If you would like to share, please write a short paragraph of your experience or insights and send to your small group leader or directly to mission@holywordchurch.org.nz, closing on 21st June.
Enoch Fellowship is organising a session with the invited speaker Dr Cannis Tse to talk about the emotional struggles of teenagers, the relationship between emotions and neural development, as well as how to go through this troubling phase with children. The talk will be delivered in Cantonese via Zoom, at 7:30 pm on Saturday 20th June. Admission is free, but please sign up via https://forms.gle/5kyVyv1RffpvgYNV9.

Mission Information
The theme of the Mission Month this year is “Mission after Pandemic”.
The focus will be how Mission has been impacted by the pandemic in relation to the 4Cs: Connection, Consolidation, Contribution and Cooperation, from 4 different perspectives: personal, church, organization, and missionary/mission field.
The aim is to help our members to understand where mission in the last days is going, and how to live out the church motto - "Renew our lives, become His disciples."
The theme hymn is “People Need the Lord”.
S&C and H&P remain in New Zealand and will likely stay here until August. Pray for S&C, H&P and other mission workers in the field so that they may continue to stay in position to serve the Lord.
The epidemic in Colombo, Sri Lanka continues. Physical worship has been suspended for two months. Pray for Pastor Tam who is currently applying for a third-year missionary work visa. Her daughter in Australia has a baby due in September so she is also planning a visit to her then.
Give thanks to God! The Tanzanian church is now adding dormitories and worship halls to the new site, and the project is in full swing. Pray that the Lord will keep the whole project running smoothly and the church can bless the local Chinese and expand the kingdom of God!
Prayer Items for the Week
Pray for the upcoming Evangelism Explosion course. May God encourage brothers and sisters to join and become Gospel warriors, and may God guide us to approach potential Gospel targets.
Pray for pastoral recruitment for the Senior Pastor, Cantonese and English services.
Pray that brothers and sisters can live out the church motto this year - "Renew our lives, become His disciples."
