Pray for Muslims: Being a community of the second-biggest faith in the world, with the highest Muslim population in the 10/40 window, Muslims need our prayers very much. The church will participate in a 30-days of prayer for the Muslims World during Ramadan (24/4-23/5) and pray for each of the Muslim countries every day. Please refer to https://www.30daysprayer.com/participate/ for details.
Bible Reading Plan
We would like to invite you to join our Bible reading plan community on YouVersion. We aim to encourage us to read, study and meditate the Word of God together. We are starting a new plan called "The Book Of James With Francis Chan: A 12-Day Video Bible Study" this coming Tuesday (14/04). The book of James speaks to the realities of a living faith in Jesus—the kind of roll-up-your-sleeves and get-your-hands-dirty discipleship that is borne out of an authentic relationship with the risen Lord. James writes to believers who know suffering, who've faced trials, and who ultimately desire a deep relationship with God. If you already have a YouVersion account, you can join by clicking this link. If you have any questions, please read this step-by-step guide or email Pastor ET @ et.wong@holywordchurch.org.nz.

Please pray for H&P and their children while they are in Auckland. They are waiting for the flight to reopen. Pray for their physical and spiritual health, and pray they can return to their mission field soon.
Rev Janet visited a sister in Galle, a southern Sri Lanka town, last month. There is a sizable Chinese community but no Chinese church. Rev Janet petitioned us to remember this town in our prayer.
Praise the Lord! James Che’s Tanzania church held its 5th baptism at the beach on 5 April, baptising 9 new believers. Please pray for the new believers.
