Church Leaders Retreat (Deacons, Congregation Committee and Department Heads) will be held at the church on 31st August from 9.30 am to 2.45 pm. The focus will be on next year’s church motto. Please enroll to the deacons today for lunch preparation. Your spouse is most welcome.
To encourage all brothers and sisters to understand missionary, an international organisation, InterCP and HWC will held a mission course together, which has 8 lessons (the last 5 lessons will be held in a camp). Speakers/lecturers are missionaries who knows about the needs in mission fields. The course will try to cater for different language needs. Location: HWC, Date: 5th October (Saturday) - 19th October (Saturday), Time: 6.30 - 9.30pm. Camp Date: 25th-26th October (tentatively) location: TBA. Please register at the Usher desk by 29th September. Please contact Pastor Tony Yeung for any query.
The 49th Baptism will be held on 6 October 2019. Brothers and sisters who is interested in baptism, church membership, or child dedication may apply to the pastoral team or deacons. Deadline for application is 15 September.
Mid-Autumn Festival Gala will be held on 14 September at 5:00pm - 8:30pm. The program will include game booth, refreshment, and variety performance. Brothers and sisters are welcome to invite friends and family. Please register in advance at the usher’s desk by 8 September. For more information please contact Kenneth Fong.

Prayer Items for the Week
Pray for Hong Kong: The recent extradition bill has causes division between Hong Kong resident and police forces. We encourage brothers and sisters to pray for Hong Kong's government and peace in the society. Pray for the people safety in Hong Kong. Pray for God's guidance during this event.
Continue to pray for the recruitment of Senior Pastor, Cantonese Pastor, and English Youth Pastor.
Pray for the newly elected Deacon Board. May the Lord guide them to be obedient and God-pleasing custodians of the church, give them wisdom and health to lead the church in serving God and all the brothers and sisters.
Pray for the church expansion executive team and the contractor. May God keep the construction safe and give us one heart and one vision to complete the project.
