25th Anniversary Event: There are 2 biblical workshops, free of charge, will be held on June 28th (Friday) from 2:00 - 5:30 pm and 29th (Saturday) from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. Registration is required. A Bible Conference (培靈會) will be held from 7:45 to 9:30 these two evenings. All events will take place at our Church. Speaker: KK Leung (Head of “Word of Life” programme at China Graduate School of Theology), please refer to the poster (link). All Brothers and sisters are invited to attend. Please register your interest at the Usher desk.
Combine service: KK Leung will also be speaking at our church service next Sunday 30/06. We will have combine service (English/Cantonese) at 10 am. Prayer meeting will start at 9 am.
2019 AGM will be held on 6th July, Saturday 2 pm. Agenda includes 1) church expansion progress, financial and budget report 2) Deacon elections, nominated candidates: Wynne Yum、Franklin Fung、Coleman Lam、Amy Yeung. Agenda has been sent through email. We encourage all brothers and sisters to participate this meeting. According to church’s regulations, the meeting can only commence if there are more than 50 percentage of members present. For a member to qualify to vote, they are required to have more than 50 percentage attendance over the past year. If you are going to be absent, you can find a proxy to vote on your behalf. To apply for a proxy, you will need to complete a form, scan and return to hwc@holywordchurch.org.nz as PDF format or through physical mail before 5th July 2 pm. Any submission after the deadline will be void.

M1 - People who we have direct relationships with.
M2 - Within Auckland
M3 - Other places in New Zealand outside Auckland
M4 - Overseas
Donation:
Donating to M3: Online banking to our mission account 06-0229-0142488-02, or use the WHITE offering slip with cash or cheque address to “Holy Word Church of Auckland”.
Donating to M4: Use the BLUE offering slip with cash or cheque address to “Hardship & Overseas Mission Fund”.
Donation Receipts
M3 donation receipts are negligible for tax rebate. A receipt will be provided to all M4 donations but the receipt is not tax rebatable.
Prayer Items for the Week
With one of the nominated candidates having withdrawn from the upcoming candidacy, please pray that God would choose his faithful servants according to his will. Pray for the new deacons so they will serve God and the church faithfully.
Pray for the church expansion executive team and the contractor. May God keep the construction safe and give us one heart and one vision to complete the project.
Congregation news: Please pray for Amy Yeung from Cantonese Service, who fell off and has been sent to the hospital. It’s thankful that she has no fractures, but she has to rest at home because of the pain.
Please pray for Hong Kong and be peace. May God's will, righteousness, mercy, and kingdom come to this land. May the leader love people, so that people will live devoutly.
