  1. A warm welcome to everyone who joined us this morning. We are delighted to see you all.

  2. A free community seminar will be held on Saturday, 6th May at 10am-12pm. The topic is “What is it?”. It is about how to use the food scraps bins introduced and distributed to local residents by the Auckland City Council. The speaker is Ms YanLing LI, President of Chinese Environmental Education Trust Foundation. The talk will be conducted in Cantonese. It is suitable for all ages and a refreshment will provide after the seminar. All brothers and sisters are welcome to invite family members, relatives, friends, colleagues and neighbours to join. Please refer to the poster for details or contact Fanny Yeung for queries.

  3. Pastor ET is away preaching at Auckland Christian Mandarin Church Henderson this morning.

Mission News

  1. Praise the Lord! The Lanka short-term mission team has preached to more than 30 non-believers, and more than 10 of them accepted Jesus as their Saviour. Most of them have left their phone numbers which are all given to Pastor Tam to follow up. May all those believers be blessed by the Lord, and May Pastor Tam be given strength and wisdom to follow up.

  2. Let us continue to remember the 30-day prayer campaign for the Muslim world, asking God to have mercy on this community and save them.

  3. There were 10 members got baptised in Tanzania last Sunday 9th April. May the Lord strengthen their hearts and protect them as well as grow in the love of Christ.


Prayer Items for the Week

  1. The Deacon Nominee letters have been sent out to the deacon nominees. Pray for the nominees, may they seek God’s will and respond to serve according to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

  2. Pray for the gospel needs of the North Shore as more Cantonese-speaking people move there. The mission fields are vast, let's seek God's guidance together and help us see what is needed.

  3. Pray for everyone to strive to practice the theme of the year,: Love as He Loved • Love with His Love.

  4. Pray for everyone’s physical and spiritual health. The weather is also getting colder so may God strengthen our body against the flu.

    (1) Praise God! The Lanka short-term missions team has raised a total of $9868.67 in the past four weeks. The short-term missions team carries with them abundant blessings and encouragement, and they are working wholeheartedly for the Lord! They had heads off last Wednesday. Please continue to support the mission team in prayer.
    (2) This year's 30 Days of Prayer for the Muslim World is already underway (dates: 22/3-21/4). Grab your PDF copy from your Small Group Leader. The Mission Department has sent daily messages in both Chinese and English to everyone.

  4. Pastor Ivan will be on leave from 11th to 14th of April.


Mission News

  1. Praise the Lord! The Lanka short-term mission team arrived safely in Colombo early Thursday morning last week and have started serving. Please pray for some team members to adjust to the time difference and food.

  2. Let us continue to remember the 30-day prayer campaign for the Muslim world, asking God to have mercy on this community and save them.

  3. Also, please remember the following missionaries in your prayers:

    a. Pastor Janet Tam is leading our short-term mission team to serve and pray in the southern part of Sri Lanka this week. Let's pray for strength and guidance for them.

    b. H & Y have started serving on campus. Let's pray that the Lord prepares hearts and strengthens them as they serve, and also that He helps them to pray for those affected by the recent earthquake.
