Announcements

  1. A warm welcome to everyone who joined us this morning. We are delighted to see you all.

  2. Notice on the Appointment of Auditor for 2024-2025: Due to the retirement of our current auditor, Charity Integrity Audit Ltd., he has recommended an experienced firm, Kudos Murray Audit Ltd., to take over. After meeting with and assessing the new auditor, the deacon board has decided to appoint Kudos Murray Audit Ltd. as the auditor for the 2024-2025 financial year for both the church and the Charitable Trust. Given that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) is only three months away, this decision ensures a smooth audit process without any changes to audit fees. The appointment will be formally ratified at this year’s AGM. For any inquiries, please email hwc@holywordchurch.org.nz. Thank you for your understanding and support!

  3. Good Friday Service: Join us for a special Good Friday Service on 18 April 2025 at 4:00 PM in the Church Extension. It will be a time of worship, reflection, and Holy Communion as we remember the sacrifice of Christ. There will also be children’s activities to help them engage with the Good Friday message. Please set aside this time and bring your family along as we come together in worship. We look forward to seeing you there!

Giving

Let us remember the joy of giving and the blessings it brings to both the giver and the receiver. Tithe offering is a duty of all Christians. By giving, we honor God and fulfill His work through our church. May God bless the offering we willingly give. For more details on how you can give, please visit our church website: https://holywordchurch.org.nz/en/giving.

Prayer Items

  1. TNT Ministry – Pray for our TNT sessions this year, that we may faithfully study God’s Word, deepen our understanding, and build each other up in faith. May this time be fruitful for both teachers and participants as we grow together in Christ.

The English Congregation Committee (Core Group) Meeting – Pray for the Core Group meeting this Tuesday, that God would grant wisdom and discernment as they discuss and make decisions for the church. Pray for unity, clear vision, and a heart to serve the congregation faithfully.

Applying Today’s Message – Pray that we may learn from Nehemiah’s example of godly leadership—to be people who seek God in prayer, act with wisdom, endure challenges, and encourage one another in our walk of faith. May we be bold in facing opposition, committed to God’s mission, and faithful in serving our community.
