  1. A warm welcome to everyone who's at church this cold morning. We are delighted to see all your lovely faces.

  2. Prayer meeting is held in the upstairs hall after Sunday service. Please join our prayer meeting to share and pray together.

  3. Psalm Reading: Join us in the psalm reading project, started 1st June. We will be reading and meditating on one psalm a day, for 150 days. This will complement our study of Psalms this year. The reading calendar for June can be downloaded here: http://u.pc.cd/MFx7

  4. English Service Live Stream is currently operated by a small team of volunteers. The church is looking for more brothers and sisters to join the team. You will only need the heart to serve as training will be provided. Please contact Daniel or Herman for more details.

  5. Covid update: A member who attended last week’s Cantonese service has caught Covid. Let’s keep him or her in our prayers. Take care, but also take heart; let’s gather, worship and encourage each other in person.

  6. Offering Receipts: The Finance Department has sent out offering receipts for financial year 2021-2022 via email (only to those who have registered their e-mail addresses). Please take note as the email may be directed to the junk mailbox. Members who do not have e-mail addresses may obtain their offering receipts from Jenny Ip. If you have any queries, please get in touch with the Finance Department. For members who complete offering online, please enter personal information accurately when making online payments. You will need to include your registered name with IRD, and the service you attend. If you have updated your e-mail addresses, please notify the Finance Department.

Mission News

  1. Pray for the missionaries that the Mission Department has found this year to support in their mission to the Muslim countries.

  2. Pray for the learning and growth environemnt of S&C’s children.

  3. Pray for students who attend H & P online courses. They leave their careers and will be flying to Muslim community for mid and long-term missions.

  4. It’s greatful that the situation in Sri Lanka has stablised, the local Baptist Church has sent another missionary to assist Rev Janet Tam’s missions in the south of the country.

  5. Pray for the leaders of the Tanzanian church and the purchasing of land for their church building.

  2. A new pastor has been hired for the Cantonese service. Please pray for her work visa application.

  3. Pray for pastoral recruitment for the Senior Pastor, English Service Pastor and Mandarin Service Pastor.

  4. Pray for our “servicing requirement review group and deacon nomination process group”. Pray that this group can help deacon board in this area.

  5. Pray for the Psalm reading plan. May God give us the determination to follow the plan and let us learn about Him more deeply so we will worship and praise Him more.

  6. Pray for New Zealand’s pandemic situation. May God remember those affected by the pandemic.

Meanwhile, it is hoped that members can provide their personal information accurately when making online payments of offerings, including the name registered with IRD, and the service they attend, thereby ensuring correct records of the offerings.   5. Rev. Herbert Wong’s treatment has started this week, he will receive chemotherapy every Tuesday and a follow-up review will be conducted after three months. The whole family is grateful because the treatment started after house moving is completed, allowing Rev. Herbert to focus on his treatment. Thank you Lord for the arrangement. Please continue to pray for Rev. Herbert Wong and may the Lord give him strength to cope with any side effects and receive the treament successfully.

  6. Evangelize China Fellowship 75th Anniversary: Five Evangelism churches in Hong Kong is holding a 75-hours praying & praising event between 27th June to 1st July as a thanksgiving offering. Please refer its poster for daily prayer time and theme. The event is a physical gathering as well as a live braodcasting. Therefore, overseas brothers and sisters can participate and can scan QR code to read the venue and broadcasting information.

    HWC has scheduled a prayer time in the evening between 8:00 to 9:00 on 30th June. Brothers and sisters can pray for the church during this time, as well as practicipating the live broadcasting personally or in a small group.
