A warm welcome to everyone who's joining us for the first time this morning. We are delighted to have you here.
Due to the increasing Omicron cases in the community, the Cantonese and Mandarin services have moved back to online worship while the English service will continue to have in-person worship. If there are any changes, the church will announce immediately. Please keep an eye on our notices.
A Covid Emergency Support Group has been set up to respond to and support English Service members and their families in case of Covid infection and isolation, in light of increasing Omicron cases in the community. If you and your families need help during isolation or illness, please reach out to your Small Group Leader who will then liaise with the Emergency Support Group for immediate response. Support may be in the form of delivering medicine, takeaway food or groceries (or picking up online orders) for the families in isolation, prayer and spiritual support.
General Department will declutter the church in March: Miscellaneous items such as props, festive decorations, and toys blocking the church storage area will be removed next month. Church members may collect their items by the end of February. Any remaining items will be handled by the church.
Online Seminars by the Mission Department: The theme is “Encountering Islam” Speaker: Pastor John Zheng. The Cantonese and Mandarin seminars will take place on 19-20 March in the evening. There will also be an online English seminar on Saturday 26 March 2022, 2-4pm. Registration is required, the deadline is 23/03/2022. Registration link here.
51st Baptism combine service will be held on 17 April 2022. There may be changes depending on the situation. If you are interested in getting baptised, please submit your application to one of our Pastors or Deacons. The deadline is 20 March 2022. All applicants are required to have completed the nurturing course. Once applied, you will attend the Faith Seeking Class and an interview with the Deacon Board. We are also open for Church Membership and Child Dedication applications.
Mandarin 20th anniversary prayer meeting: This year is the 20th anniversary of the Mandarin congregation. Give thanks to God for his guidance. Due to the pandemic, they will host their thanksgiving prayer meeting online via Zoom. Date: 6 March 2022 (Sunday), 7:30-9:30pm.

Mission News
Pray for the two online seminars organised by the Mission Department.
Pray for S&C in their ministry amongst the non-believers in the mission field. May the Lord bless their missionary works!
Pray for H&P for they are moving their ministry to another location, and for P’s coordination of the training course starting in April. Praise the LORD that a few young members of the training course have departed for some remote and challenging areas to do mission. Please pray for their settling in those areas.
Pray for Rev Tam in the face of the severe pandemic situation. Please also pray for her daughter who is pregnant with a 2nd baby. May the Lord take care of them.
Praise the Lord! Pastor James and Jessica Che have arrived safely in New Zealand. They have returned to Auckland. May the Lord continue to guide Pastor Che’s treatment.
Prayer Items for the Week
Steve is still having chemotherapy. At the moment, some of his test values have not yet returned to a normal range which may affect his upcoming treatment. Please continue to pray for his health as he continues to go through the process.
Pray for Rev. ET’s father, Rev. Herbert Wong. Rev. Herbert is commencing a 6-week chemo-radiation therapy from Wed 16 February. Every week he will receive one chemotherapy treatment and five radiation treatments. Please continue to pray for his strength during the treatment.
The Church Theme for the next two years is: Love as He Loved • Love with His Love
Pray for New Zealand’s pandemic situation as we have moved to the COVID Traffic lights system. May God remember those affected by the pandemic.
Pray for pastoral recruitment for the Senior Pastor, English Service Pastor and Mandarin Service Pastor.

The seminars will take place on 19-20 March in the evening. Please pray for the challenges in finding an interpreter.

Steve is still having chemotherapy. Thanks for God's blessings and the prayers of brothers and sisters. The side effect of the chemotherapy had been minimal. Please continue to pray for him, so that our mighty and merciful God will continue to heal Steve.
