  1. A warm welcome to everyone who's joining us for the first time this morning. We are delighted to have you here.

  2. In-person worship had resumed where My Vaccine Pass must be presented. Online live stream will continue to be available. We encourage those who are feeling sick to stay home and participate through online service. Attendance through online streaming will be counted.

  3. In-person worship location: English Congregation worships in Church Extension, Cantonese and Mandarin Congregation worships in Main Hall. Please note that the Tracer QR Code is different for the following entrances: Main Hall Front Door, Side Hall Side Door, Door at Staircase for Upstairs Hall and Church Extension.

  4. Important notices for In-person worship: A kind reminder for all brothers and sisters to arrive earlier, so that we can complete the following and start worship promptly:

    • Masks wearing are encouraged. Church will prepare masks for those who needs it.

    • Scan QR code on arrival.

    • Display My Vaccine Pass for the usher to verify.

    • Sanitise both hands.

    • Mark attendance.

    • Physical distancing inside church. People of the same family/bubble may sit near each other.

  6. 2022 Floral offering can be registered online now if those who are willing to offer. Please register your name and choose your preferred date in the online form.
    Please note: the floral offering person must be a Christian. If children are interested, their parents must be Christians.

  7. Congregation News: Brother Desmond Lee’s mother Ms. Liu has returned to the Lord on 31/12/2021. The funeral service will be held on 29/1/2022 at 10AM in Christian’s ceremony setting. Please keep Brother Lee and his family in your prayers.

Mission News

  1. Pray for this year’s Pledge Offering Plan. Pledge offering is a response to the Lord’s compelling Spirit and reliance on Lord’s provision. May the Lord help us make our offering consistently as we pledged.

  2. Pray for S&C and their children as they serve in difficult circumstances. Pray for their children’s learning in the field, and that they continue to be healthy.

  3. Pray for H&P for they are moving their ministry to another location, and having to complete various applications. May the Lord open a path for their VISA application, children’s education, renting accommodation, and learning new language. They plan to depart in April.

  4. Praise the Lord. Rev. Janet Tam’s granddaughter has recovered. The Chinese church planned to have a baptism today, however, the two out of the three members have contracted Covid. Please pray for them for their recovery.

  5. Pray for Tanzania’s Chinese Church under the COVID-19 pandemic. Please pray for Pastor James and Jessica Che, who plan to return to New Zealand for treatment of James’ health condition at the end of January. Please pray for finding a suitable person to take over Pastor Che’s role and that they can return to New Zealand safely.

Prayer Items for the Week

  1. Steve is still having chemotherapy. Thanks for God's blessings and the prayers of brothers and sisters. The side effect of the chemotherapy had been minimal. Please continue to pray for him, so that our mightly and merciful God can continue to heal Steve.

  2. Pray for Rev. ET’s father, Rev. Herbert Wong. Rev. Herbert has completed the first part of the first phase of treatment. The second part will start in the coming week. After the first phase is completed, the second phase which includes chemotherapy and radiotherapy will start. Thank God for his providence and for everyone’s prayers. Please continue to pray for his treatment.

  3. The Church Theme for the next two years is: Love as He Loved • Love with His Love

  4. Pray for the work undertaken by the "Deacon Nomination Criteria & Procedures Review Group". May this group support the Deacon Board in reviewing the deacon nomination criteria and the procedures to nominate deacons.

  5. Pray for New Zealand’s pandemic situation as we have moved to the COVID Traffic lights system. May God remember those affected by the pandemic.

  6. Pray for pastoral recruitment for the Senior Pastor, English Service Pastor and Mandarin Service Pastor.

  7. A new pastor has been hired for the Cantonese service. Please pray for her work visa application. May God give her peace in her wait

  2. Congregation News: Praise the Lord for a safe and quick delivery to Simon Loh and Jojo Mak's baby, Travis. He was born on Wednesday 12 January. Please pray for Jojo's recovery and for God to bless Travis with good health, as well as Simon and Mavis at this joyful time.

  4. Praise the Lord. Rev. Janet Tam has visited her family in Australia. Her family was infected COVID-19, except her daughter. Praise the Lord, her family, except her little granddaughter, has been fully recovered before she flew back to Sri Lanka on 9th Jan. Please pray for her little granddaughter’s recovery who is 16 months old, may the Lord cure her.

  5. Pray for Tanzania’s Chinese Church under the COVID-19 pandemic. A few of the church members are infected with the virus. May the Lord heal them and keep them. Please also pray for Pastor Che, who will return to New Zealand for treatment of his health condition at the end of this January. Please pray for finding a suitable person to take over Pastor Che role and return to New Zealand safely.
