The Children Sunday School is holding a Family Fun Day tomorrow (8 February) from 10 am to 2 pm. There will be games stations and lunch provided at church. All games require parents and children to complete the challenges together, with small prizes upon completion. We invite all parents to come along with their children, and welcome you to extend the invite to your friends and neighbours.
51st Baptism will be held on 4 April as a combined service from all three congregation. For those who wants to be baptised, please contact any Deacon, Pastor or your Small Group Leader. Deadline is 7th March. All applicants are required to have their nurturing course completed. Please also contact us if you would like to have your church membership transferred to HWC or would like to have child dedication.

There will be games and food stalls where you can make purchases with vouchers. Mission Information
Please remember S&C, H&P and Pastor Janet Tam in your prayers. Pray that God gives them physical and spiritual health and peace so they can pastor their respective churches and glorify God. Please pray for their families and co-workers in the mission field.
Please pray for Pastor Janet Tam’s visa application for April to September this year. She will have completed the first term of her three-year-mission in Sri Lanka in May, and plans to return to Hong Kong to report her mission organisation and apply for a second term contract. May God guide her way in this pandemic situation.
Pastor James Che’s health has improved. Give thanks to the Lord and continue to pray for the restoration of his immune system.
$16,500 Missionary fund is required this financial year, however, it is insufficient by about $1,000 as at today. The financial situtation of Smile Lanka school is in deficit, HWC budgets to support $3,000. Unfortunately, missionary is the top priority to get handled, it cannot be started fundraising. (Please note: M4 is an “overseas missions” which is non tax-deductible, hence the general offering cannot be transferred to overseas mission bank account by law.) Please pray and support.
Prayer Items for the Week
Pray for pastoral recruitment for the Senior Pastor and English services Pastor.
The motto for this year will remain the same as previous year. Pray that brothers and sisters can live out the church motto this year - "Renew our lives, become His disciples."
A new pastor has been hired for the Cantonese service. Please pray for her application of the work visa. May God give her peace in her wait.
Continue to pray for the world during COVID-19 period. Thank God that NZ has not been impacted as much. May God brings peace to those who are impacted and give us all a vigilant heart.
