  3. The 49th Baptism will be held on 6 October 2019. Brothers and sisters who want to get baptised please apply to the pastoral team or deacons. Deadline for application is 15 September. Applicants are required to complete the church's nurturing course, and those who have not started the course should contact the pastors or deacons. Applications for church membership and children dedication are also open.

  4. New carpet for baby room: New carpet will be installed this Tuesday morning. For the convenience of the installation, please clear any personal belongings in the baby room before today.

  5. Give thanks to the Lord! Gloria Lam from Cantonese service gave birth to Gabrielle. The delivery was smooth. Mother and daughter are healthy.

  2. Praise the Lord! Pastor Janet Tam’s work visa has been approved. Please continue to pray for her preparation for the upcoming event in New Zealand during August.

    Prayer Items for the Week

  1. Continue to pray for the recruitment of Senior Pastor, Cantonese Pastor, and English Youth Pastor.

  2. Pray for the newly elected Deacon Board. May the Lord guide them to be obedient and God-pleasing custodians of the church, give them wisdom and health to lead the church in serving God and all the brothers and sisters.

  3. Pray for the church expansion executive team and the contractor. May God keep the construction safe and give us one heart and one vision to complete the project.

  4. Pray for Hong Kong: The recent extradition bill has causes division between Hong Kong resident and police forces. We encourage brothers and sisters to pray for Hong Kong's government and peace in the society. Pray for the people safety in Hong Kong. Pray for God's guidance during this event.

Mission Information

  1. Praise the Lord for looking after S&C by providing them a co-worker. They are now seeking a bigger venue that can accommodate their student fellowship. Please continue to remember them in our prayers.

  2. The theme of August Mission Month is: A life of mission. Pray for the mission month combined service on 25 August and the preparation of the Mission Department. May God’s word help us towards a life of mission.

  3. Brothers and sisters of the Vanuatu Short-term Mission Trip are sharing their experiences in all three Sunday services today.

  4. Missionaries J&P have left NZ to start their training and ministry in the southeast Asian mission field for their mission work and training. May God help them settle into the lifestyle there.

  5. Pastor Janet Tam is now applying for the work visa for her second year. Please pray for her medical check required for visa application and her ministry in Sri Lanka. May God guide and protect her.

  6. James Che has begun his chemotherapy treatment which will last for a few months. Pray that God will reduce any side effects he is experiencing, give him full recovery and the strength to share his testimony.
